Who We Are
LGBTQIA+ individuals are deserving of safety and acceptance in their everyday lives, their communities, and their places of work. Inspired by her own lived experiences, the study and practice of social work, and the opportunity to experience an inclusive, affirming, and safe workplace, River Parker created QRIS Consulting to support growth, learning, and generative change in organizations. The mission of QRIS Consulting is to create more work and school spaces where LGBTQIA+ individuals are safe, celebrated, and seen in their authentic, full selves.
Through the lenses of anti-oppressive practice and transformative social work, QRIS Consulting helps:
Assess and build inclusive, affirming practices at your workplace or educational setting
Engage leadership in a collaborative review of policy and procedure for gender and sexuality diversity
Grow your organization’s capacity to welcome LGBTQIA+ employees and/or support LGBTQIA+ youth, including addressing best practices with names, pronouns, confidentiality, and more
Form a strong, compassionate workplace environment through community building and conflict resolution
From the physical spaces your organization occupies to the social emotional well-being of your staff, students, and clients, QRIS Consulting provides collaborative, transformative guidance to organizations who wish to actively support and affirm their LGBTQIA+ community members.
About River
River Parker (they/she) has spent the last five years working with neurodiverse adults and young adults in community and educational settings.
